Treystar Intership

During my internship at Treystar, I worked on improving the digital signage experience across Treystar’s downtown Kalamazoo campus. The challenge was that the current signage was outdated and limited, so the goal was to create a more dynamic system that could display announcements, weather, news, facility updates, and also promote sister businesses like Desenberg, and Kalamazoo Mini Storage.

I used Yodeck, a platform I had never worked with before, which pushed me to quickly learn, adapt, and innovate. I designed layouts, built content playlists, and customized screens for different buildings and audiences throughout the campus. I also created engaging visual content tailored to tenants, visitors, and coworking members to keep them informed and connected.

This project helped me grow my skills in digital communication, content design, and problem-solving while working with new software. It also taught me how to build messaging that aligns with the right audience and enhances the overall campus experience.
